American identity had changed since 1987. We were living now like the Roaring Twenties, and identity was all about money. The Democrats with their more than 300 social events in Denver to the 180 social events of the Republicans in the Twin Cities. They did not call this the season of political PARTIES for nothing.
The big bubble was gonna burst and neither nominee seemed ready for the coming crisis.
Seeing the numbers of people along the river at 4:30 on bikes, on feet, on an ideal day, I was a chip shot below the site of the RNC. The relationship of money and freedom did not hit me there. I was just looking at all the people who could enjoy a perfect Saturday, without work. Liberty and to make enough to take 2 days off each week. It wasn’t always so.
Seating rights. New stadiums. Private schools. Getting a foot in the door.
Money & Freedom. Is this what was taught in MBA school? Ask for fee for the privilege to get preferred seating. The current age was all about politics. And not ideas.
